Important Notes

On the system you will find the user manual with the instructions, step by step, to complete the required reports. If your license is for a Producer, Agent or Authorized Representative, you must complete the Annual Business Volume Report and the Annual Employment Report. However, if during the year you had a provisional license or were an Authorized Person, yo do not need to complete the reports.

Common Situations

Forgot Username
‍Your username is your license number. If your account is blocked, you should contact the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance at (787) 304-8686, toll-free at 1 (888) 722-8686 or send an email to ocsenlinea@ocs.pr.gov. Remember to have the following information available: name, license number issued by the OCS, and a brief description of the problem.

Forgot Password
To regain access to the system, enter your user or license number issued by the OCS and select the option “Forgot My Password” you will then receive an email with the temporary password to the email address registered in the system. The email address used and registered on the system is the same one provided, under your profile, in “State Based System” or SBS, for its acronym in English. See Circular Letter CC-2013-1845-SR. If you continue to experience problems accessing the system, contact the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance at (787) 304-8686 or toll-free at 1 (888) 722-8686. Remember to have the following information available: name, license number issued by the OCS, and a brief description of the problem.

Math Error
In the Annual Business Volume Report, be sure to complete the Detail of Income, Volume of Business and Commissions Paid to 3rd Parties, the totals for raw subscribed, commissions received, and commissions paid to 3rd parties must match. If you do not pay commissions to third parties, DO NOT complete the Commissions Paid to 3rd Parties section.

WARNING

Remember, the deadline is March 31. If you don't complete your reports on or before that date, you risk fines and you won't be able to renew your license.
